ABOUT YOU
We need you to be a strong collaborator and able to succeed in a fast-paced environment. You must have at least 3 years' experience building complex web applications with extensive knowledge of the following:
- C# (7+)
- .NET Framework 4.7+ / Core / Standard / .NET
- ASP.NET / Web API / MVC
- SQL (PostgreSQL, SQL Server etc.)
- NoSQL DB platforms (MongoDB, CouchDB etc.)
- Coaching / Mentoring team members
- TDD / Unit testing
Further beneficial skills:
- CQRS and message queue systems like RabbitMQ & MSMQ
- Message bus implementations like NServiceBus / MassTransit
- Event sourcing
- Cloud computing technologies (AWS, Azure)
- Experience working on larger enterprise systems
- SOLID principles and common design patterns
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Developing new features for PebblePad and helping with ongoing maintenance
- Get involved in concepting ideas and prototyping (working alongside our Product Design team)
- Working collaboratively with your agile team to produce elegant solutions to complex problems and improve the way we work.
- Sometimes stepping forward and being the lead developer for a project because of your experience and specialist knowledge.
- Mentoring junior developers through both planning and implementation
- Learning! You will be keeping up with best practices and emerging technologies to help us stay at the forefront of our industry
