About The Role
As part of our exciting growth plans, we are scaling up our investment in Marketing and for the first time we are looking for a highly motivated, dynamic, experienced and self-driven Marketing Director to lead our marketing team. As our Marketing Director you’ll be responsible for developing, implementing and executing the marketing strategy in order to grow revenue from new and existing customers. You’ll lead our marketing team by example and ensure that they continue to develop and thrive. With globally recognised customers in the UK, Europe, Australia, Canada and the USA already you will have a strong customer foundation to build on! You will have all the support you need from the wider business, but you will be someone that loves accountability, rolling your sleeves up, owning big responsibilities and making a difference.

Responsibilities
- You own the creation and execution of the PebblePad Marketing Plan and Strategy which covers multiple international geographies for new customer acquisition, expansion and retention
- Leadership and day to day management of our Marketing Team: OKR setting, prioritisation, creating new initiatives, career coaching & mentoring
- Roll-up your sleeves and be a hands-on contributor to the Marketing Team in any areas needed
- Build out marketing budget and run activities aligned with 3-year plan above. Ensuring that our CAC is within reasonable parameters
- Develop and execute a global demand generation playbook including producing webinars, events and campaigns that align with PebblePad’s overall goals and help deliver net new demand
- Work your ABM magic with our top target accounts and support PebblePad’s overall marketing efforts and drive market share within the regions
- Build solid relationships with the Sales, Client Success and Product Teams and work in partnership with your peers to support our commercial goals and business objectives
- Identify the right marketing channels and build a dynamic marketing mix that helps deliver a strong pipeline
- Create a close feedback loop with internal stakeholders to enable you to understand the regional dynamics and be on top of market opportunities and challenges.
- Help build the PebblePad brand in the region by identifying opportunities that can establish Pebblepad as a thought leader and industry expert
- Bring a data driven approach to ensure ROI positive spends; bearing in mind it’s also okay to fail if you are quick to realise and move on
- Understand the competitive landscape and leverage customer insights, product insights, content and industry rankings for success
- Build out Customer Marketing & Product Marketing strategy and plan, including directly supporting the team day to day
- A member of the Customer and Growth and wider management team you own your numbers and can be the spokesperson for marketing at PebblePad.
- Represent PebblePad as a spokesperson both in person and in digital channels
- Design and implement the operating model (reporting, KPI's, QBR's etc) for Marketing
- Oversee the PR, corporate communications, employer branding and corporate branding projects
- Have fun, learn, perform, excel and grow
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Multi-year senior level experience leading B2B marketing for an enterprise software or cloud-based solution provider ideally with a similar audience to PebblePed.
- Demonstrated success in building and managing a high performing marketing team
- A proven track record of delivering new ARR, expansion ARR and renewal
- You have a thorough understanding of the demand generation funnel and have experience in delivering results at all stages of it, through different marketing channels
- You have experience building and executing ABM strategies and programs
- You take a data-driven approach to pipeline creation, optimising for both short-term outcomes (campaign engagement, form fills, booked meetings) and long-term wins (pipeline, closed won revenue) on a day-to-day basis
- You have experience in planning and executing campaigns/events/ webinars of various sizes, setting clear goals, driving the initiative to success and measuring the results
- Experience of CRM, marketing automation and a range of martech and analytics tools (Our stack includes HubspotCRM, Hubspot SalesHub and Google Analytics); while you are strategically minded you are equally happy to roll-up your sleeves and write your own marketing emails
- Experience launching into new geographies, horizontal and vertical markets
- Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal
- Relatable and approachable. To fit with our friendly team, you’ll need top notch interpersonal skills
- You are a self-starter that can wear many hats and has experience working with Sales and Client Success as partners to deliver the global and regional business goals
- The ability to thrive in fast-paced and dynamic environments - you are entrepreneurial, inquisitive and creative by nature
- We’re location agnostic and the role could be remote or on-site in our HQ; Flexibility to travel as required (approx. 15-20% of the time)
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field &/or a recognised industry qualification (CIM etc.)
